A year before COVID, we had the pleasure of visiting and working with a coffee- cacao plantation in Johor. In the interest of polyculture, here cacao is cultivated next to matured Liberica coffee trees. Once harvested, coffee and cacao are fermented and dried side by side in the same space. Beans are hand sorted at the farm and again at our roastery, then stone-ground into a dark chocolate with the intention of expressing a profile that is innate to this Southern-most region, adding to the #MalaysianSingleOrigin offerings.

We operate a strictly vegetarian kitchen and the chocolates in our menu contain no alcohol. Our kitchen facility has presence of nuts and dairy although not used in every recipe.
