The cacao trees in Kelantan are grown taller than usual, exceeding 3 meters, to adapt to the region's annual floods, which can rise to depths of 1.5 meters. Their deep roots anchor them firmly in the sandy, coastal soil, allowing them to withstand strong winds and the challenging conditions of the area.

In 2021, this cacao origin was recognized among the top 50 estates at the Cocoa of Excellence Program, an acknowledgment of its quality, flavor diversity, and unique story. The distinctive conditions in Kelantan, from the flooding to the coastal environment, contribute to the cacao’s character, making it stand out in terms of taste and production methods.

We work closely with this origin, striving to highlight its uniqueness in every chocolate we create. By carefully preserving the natural characteristics of the cacao, we aim to share the story of this region through our chocolate, connecting its environment, history, and flavors to those who enjoy it.
